Accellos is a global provider of technology solutions for the logistics, warehouse, third party, transportation, and mobile fleet management markets. Why did Accellos acquire vSync?
The acquisition of vSync is part of Accellos’ strategy of adding superior, customer-centric supply-chain solutions with strong brands and industry reputations to our growing organization. vSync’s solutions will become a key component of our Accellos One suite aimed at streamlining warehouse operations.
By adding vSync to our family, Accellos now has 195 dedicated employees, nearly 4,000 loyal customers, a reputation for innovation, and a proven track record of growth and success in our industry. Accellos has a strong desire to be the worldwide leader in supply chain solutions as well as in continued development of the strong partner channel we already enjoy.
We will continue to market and support the vSync product lines under the Accellos banner, as well as invest in key vSync product initiatives as part of Accellos One.
How will vSync be Integrated into the Accellos Organization?
vSync will share the common management structure of the entire Accellos organization and retain its focus on innovation from Columbus, Ohio.
Who are the Leaders of Accellos?
Mike Cornell serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Accellos and leads an experienced team including Joel Kremke, Chief Operating Officer, Ross Elliott, Chief Technology Officer, and Flint Seaton, Chief Financial Officer.
All four were formerly part of NxTrend, a leader in ERP, WMS, CRM, and e-commerce solutions for the distribution market.
Key members of vSync’s operational, sales and development teams will also take on expanded roles in the Accellos organization. Bill Knapp, vSync’s president, will continue with Accellos, playing a significant role in our Integration, EDI and Microsoft channel strategies.
Will Accellos continue to have Channel Partners?
Yes, the Microsoft channel is a very important part of our business. Prior to acquiring vSync, approximately 40% of Accellos’ revenue came from our channel partners. We will continue to utilize Microsoft channel partners and plan to expand relationships with Microsoft partners as a result of the acquisition.
How will this impact the employees of vSync?
Accellos is thrilled to have vSync as part of our organization, and we look forward to working together. From a customer perspective, vSync will operate much as it does today. The main office of vSync will remain in Columbus, Ohio. Certain functional areas of the organization will be consolidated within the combined Accellos organization.
vSync’s reputation for a dedicated, highly qualified team of employees played a key role in our decision to acquire the company, and we believe that the combination of our organizations will result in many new opportunities.
Will there be any changes in the location of vSync’s office?
We plan on maintaining an office or offices in the Columbus area.

At present, there is no established worldwide leader in the market for complete Supply Chain and Transportation technology solutions, particularly for the small to medium sized market. By combining vSync’s market share with Accellos’ resources and capabilities, we will very quickly establish a leadership position in the markets we serve. The result will be increased opportunities for customers, partners, and employees.

Will Accellos continue to support vSync’s product lines?
Accellos will continue to market and support vSync’s product lines and we will also invest in key vSync product initiatives as part of Accellos One. You will now have options from the complimentary pieces from all our current and future product offerings. vSync will become a key part of Accellos One, our supply chain suite of products. Technology investments our customers are making today will not be jeopardized in any way. In fact, as innovation leaders, we will be offering more capabilities and expansion due to our larger size and commitment to research and development.
Will there be changes to release dates and product road maps?
There will be no changes to committed release dates. Over the next few months, we will deliver to all of our customers a comprehensive product road map and overall technology strategy.
When will new products be made available?
We will be announcing a product roadmap within the first 90 days of the acquisition.
What happens to the name of vSync?
We believe the team at vSync has built a strong brand around the names vSync and vShip. The product line will continue in the short-term with vSync’s brand. vSync’s solutions will also become a component of Accellos One, providing you with even greater options for product functionality. The web site at vsync.com will transition to Accellos branding and product names but will continue to play a key role in our marketing strategy.
